1. Send a request
Email hello@leiritech.com with the subject “TARS data deletion”. Include the email address associated with your request and, if known, the relevant workspace, Facebook Page name or ID, Instagram username, or ad-account ID. Tell us whether you want particular records removed or all data associated with the connection.
Do not include passwords, access tokens or app secrets. You do not need to log into TARS to submit a request.
2. Verification and response
We may ask you to demonstrate that you are the affected person or an authorised administrator of the business assets. We use that information only to handle the request and protect against unauthorised deletion.
We will explain the scope of the deletion, any information we must retain and the reason for retaining it, and confirm the outcome by email within the time limits required by applicable law.
3. What deletion covers
Depending on your verified request, deletion covers the relevant personal or connected-account information held by TARS, including applicable cached Meta information, credentials, campaign records, stored media and task records. Records may be anonymised where appropriate, and information required for a legal obligation or claim may be retained for that limited purpose. Restricted backup copies may remain until they are replaced or expire.
Deleting TARS-held data does not itself delete your Facebook Page, Instagram account, posts or ads held by Meta, and does not automatically stop an active advertising campaign. Manage those assets directly in Meta or make a separate explicit request for the authorised operation.
4. Stop future access
To stop future access, revoke tars_ad_manager’s permissions in the relevant Meta account or Business Settings, or ask the administrator who assigned the assets and credentials to remove that access. Disconnecting alone does not delete previously stored TARS records; send the deletion request above as well.
